• The Lewisburg Rotary Club Christmas Parade will be held Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.- rain date is Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. (only if rain is heavy - parade will go on in light rain/sleet/snow.) • The Senior Center will host a covered dish luncheon with a Thanksgiving theme on Nov. 17 at 11:30. Bring a dish or pay $3.00. We will play Bingo afterwards, sponsored by NHC Homecare. Call 359-1808 for more information.

• Life & Hope Outreach is having a gospel singing on Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. featuring the well known Professional Bluegrass Band, Bill Wise & Mountain Time with Ron Perry, Glynnis Sanders, Danny & wife, MaryAnn. The spaghetti dinner is at 5 p.m. and there will also be an auction with homemade desserts.

•The Marshall County Amateur Radio Society will hold its election of officers for 2018 at its next meeting this Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. This “annual” meeting, required by the club’s Constitution and By-Laws, will be held at the Marshall County Hardison Office Annex, 230 College Street, Suite 100, in Lewisburg. Following the conduct of club business and the election, club members will present a “show and tell” of items they have built themselves and older radio equipment that they own. The Marshall County Amateur Radio Society is a Tennessee not-for-profit corporation affiliated with ARRL – the national association for Amateur Radio. The club actively supports the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES®), a national program of ARRL which offers backup communications assistance to the Marshall County Office of Emergency Management and local community service groups. Amateur radio operators and anyone with an interest in “ham” radio and emergency communications are invited and welcome to attend. • The American Legion Auxiliary will meet Monday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m. at Village Manor.

• Rotary Club of Lewisburg Christmas Tour of Homes will take place Dec. 10, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit multiple Marshall County Charities. Tickets are on sale now at several businesses.
