• The Lewisburg Rotary Club Christmas Parade will be held Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.- rain date is Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. (only if rain is heavy - parade will go on in light rain/sleet/snow.) The theme this year is “Jingle Bell Christmas” and entries are FREE. Line up starts at noon, judging at 1:30. Call 931-359-3998 for an entry number. (Please, NO Santa’s as entries.)

• Gobble Wobble 5K walk/run will be Nov. 23, 8 a.m. at Rock Creek Park.

• Lewisburg youth basketball sign-ups for boys and girls, ages 7 to 12; register before Nov. 30 at the Lewisburg Recreation Center; practice will start Dec. 4.

• At the Marshall County Memorial Library: Library will be closed Nov. 23, Nov. 24, and Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving; Nov. 28 - Learn to be a foster parent, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Nov 30 - Family Storytime in Lewisburg at 9:30 a.m., Theatre@The Library at 4 p.m., Minecraft Free Play at 5 p.m.

• Still Life Drawing class, Nov. 24, 6 p.m., at the Marshall County Art Guild.

• Join our new Canasta group at Senior Citizens. We play Canasta at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Card Room. If you are new to Canasta we are glad to teach new players. The Senior Center is located in the Hardison Office Annex at 230 College St. in Lewisburg. Call 359-1808 for more information.

• Rotary Club of Lewisburg Christmas Tour of Homes will take place Dec. 10, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit multiple Marshall County Charities. Tickets are on sale now at several businesses.
