Marvelle Holland, 82, of Cornersville, died Monday, March 26, 2018, in Waynesboro Health & Rehab.
Marvelle was a native of Marshall County, born Aug. 11, 1935, daughter of Lee and Willa Mae Burns Haislip. She retired from Reliance Pen & Pencil Company and was a member of Cornersville Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Willa Mae Burns Haislip; husband, Billy Holland; two brothers, Bobby and Billy Haislip; and son, Bo Holland. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Terry) Davis of Waynesboro; sister, Sandra (Robert) Pugh of Cornersville; four grandchildren, Jason Gilliam of Cornersville, Brad Davis of Smyrna, Chase Holland of Nashville, and Krysta Mosher of Chapel Hill; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery at Spring Place.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Haislip, Joey Crowell, Jacob Crowell, Aaron Crowell, Caleb Crowell, and Jay Bruce.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
