J. Claude Lee, Jr.
J. Claude Lee, Jr. 68, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away, on April 16, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshall County, Tennessee he was the son of the late, James Claude Lee, Sr. and Louise Harwell Lee and was a member of the First Baptist Church Lewisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Donna (Hargrove) Lee of Lewisburg; one daughter Misty (Brian) Jett also of Lewisburg; two grandchildren Elizabeth Dawn Jett and Ethan Thomas Jett. He is also survived by one sister, Diana (Bill) Barrett of Marietta, GA, a brother Joe E. (Pat) Moore of Brentwood; and two nephews, Lee Moore and Robbie Barrett.
Mr. Lee served in the Tennessee National Guard for thirty-one years, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and was a member of the Lewisburg Elks Lodge for thirty-eight years. He was the State President of the Tennessee Elks Lodges during the years of 2001-2002.
Funeral services for Mr. Lee will be conducted on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Dumser officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday April 18, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
