In the second game of the Babe Ruth League twin bill Tuesday night, some weird things happened along the way.

The team that was getting no-hit led 5-0 after three innings before the team that won scored 8 runs in the last inning to claim the victory.

Ethan Spivey pitched three no-hit innings before Blake Moreland finished up the combined no-hitter for A-Plus.

Ethan Spivey and Blake Moreland tossed a combined no-hitter for A-Plus Collision Center over Nichirin in the 10-5 win that was called after four innings due to the one hour and 45 minute time limit.

Luke Terry (2B, 2RS, RBI) and Ethan Hollis (2B, BB, RS, RBI) had two hits apiece for A-Plus, while Spivey (RS, 2RBIs), Jace McPherson (RS), Bradley Wright (RS), and John Martin (RBI) all had one base knock.

Logan McKnight started on the hill for Nichirin and held A-Plus scoreless through the first two innings before leaving the mound with one out in the bottom of the third.

Nichirin scored all five of its runs in the game in the top of third without getting a base hit off Spivey.

The Elksí Grayson Whaley, filling in for undermanned Nichirin led off with a base on balls and Kristian Yanke-Malone followed with another base on balls.

Spivey uncorked three wild pitches in a row to send Whaley to the plate before whiffing the next batter.

Spivey beaned McKnight and another run scored on a passed ball before Daniel Sellars reached on an error to load the sacks.

It looked like Spivey was going to escape when he got the second out on a strikeout, but he walked the next two batters and committed a balk to give Nichirin the 5-0 lead.

Terry singled with one out in the bottom of the inning and raced to third on an outfield error before scoring on another Nichirin error.

Ethan Hollis manís his third base position for A-Plus in their 10-5 win over Nichirin Tuesday night.

Two batters later, Hollis ripped an RBI double to make it 5-2.

Moreland pitched a scoreless top of the fourth inning and in the home half of the frame, A-Plus sent 11 batters to the plate and scored eight runs as Spivey drove home two runs and Mooreland, Terry, Hollis, and Martin all knocked in one run apiece to seal the first win of the season for A-Plus (1-3).

Nichirin is also 1-3.

Daniel Sellars scored a run, walked, stole a base, and reached on an error for Nichirin.
