The Lewisburg Police Department turned over a surplus police cruiser to Spot Lowe Technology Center on Wednesday. The 2012 Dodge Charger will be used by automotive technology classes as a teaching tool for students. Automotive teacher Jerry Hooper said that students will practice repairs hundreds of times on the vehicle, which will be the school’s most recent model vehicle by six years, he added.
