Lee stumps at Berlin Springs

Gubernatorial candidate Bill Lee made a stop in Berlin on Tuesday as the months long campaign for the Republican nomination closed in on Thursday’s primary vote. While he did not address the crowd of supporters gathered from atop Pulpit Rock at Berlin Springs, he took the opportunity for a photo on the rock, which has been a well-known “stump” for political candidates since James K. Polk delivered a speech from the rock during his campaign for the presidency in 1844.
