• The Lewisburg Lions Club Octoberfest and Pancake Breakfast will be held Saturday, Oct. 6 at Rock Creek Park in Lewisburg from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Booth space is available for crafts, produce, specialty, and more. • Sept 28 - The Cornersville High School homecoming parade will take place on Friday, Sept. 28. For the safety of those participating and watching the parade, Main Street and all roads leading to Main Street will be blocked for approximately one hour beginning at 12:30 p.m.

• Sept 28 - Malice-Haunted Attraction in new location at 1777 Nix Road, Lewisburg, behind Hi-Way 50 Drive-In; Sept. 28 & 29-opening weekend $2 off. October 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 and Halloween night, Oct 31 is Kids Night-no scare actors. Nov 3 is Encore Night; Admission $10 each; ticket sales 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

• Sept 30 - Lewisburg First Assembly presents: City on a Hill, 5-8pm, at the Lewisburg Rec Center; Kindergarten-6th grade. Black light puppets, games & free food.

• Sept 30 - Mooresville Baptist Church, 1030 Bryant Cemetery Road will be celebrating their 13th Anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 30. Regular Service with Pastor Bob Rush bringing the message and lunch to follow. The Hymnsmen from Cleveland, TN will be singing at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Everyone is invited.
