Scouts - Popcorn Fundraiser

Thursday, September 27, 2018

A Popcorn fundraiser with Cornersville Cub Scouts, Pack 273 is in full swing. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help each scout fund their year of activities. With 70 percent of sales going back to local Scouting, our community has been very generous. Scouts were recently rewarded for their hard work with a movie night on September 22. The iconic baseball movie, The Sandlot, was played. Scouts and families enjoyed grilled hot dogs, chips, popcorn and crackerjacks. During the movie, the kids were nice and cozy laying on their BIG JOE chairs, donated by Will Wilson, Plant Manager at Comfort Research. Each Scout also received a unique, custom designed small wooden bat to take home. Other sponsors for the evening included: Peggy Hubbard/State Farm Insurance, Howard Warner/Meredith Warner Animal Clinic, David Jent Realty & Auction and Walker Die Casting. We would like to thank the residents and businesses of Marshall County for their support of Pack 273. For more information on Scouting or to join, you may reach Ryan Smith, Cub Master at 731-514-2357. Pack 273 is fun for the whole family! All boys and girls from K-5 grade are welcome. Pack Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in Cornersville. Popcorn Sales will end October 17, 2018.
