After the FMS girls suffered a tough 34-31 come from behind loss versus Eagleville, the Forrest boys got trampled 41-13 by the Eagles Monday night at Chapel Hill.

The Lady Rockets led for almost the entire game as FMS beat Eagleville in every quarter except one, the pivotal fourth period when the Lady Eagles outscored Forrest 16-7 to steal the win.

Bre’Ana Cannon took over the game in the final period, scoring 10 out her game-high 15 points for Eagleville.

Eagleville added 10 more points in the second period, while the Rockets managed just a three-point play the old-fashioned way by Swift in the post as Chapel Hill trailed 20-7 at the half.

The third period was a disaster for the Rockets as they tallied one point on a single free throw by Ryan Meglis.

Eagleville scored 12 in the third stanza as Isaac Pettit and Ben Thompson knocked in four points apiece, while Rhett Deaton buried a 3-pointer, and Jordan Reed hit one free throw.
