Juniorís House receives donation
Juniorís House, Inc. would like to give a special thanks to The South Tennessee Oil Company, Inc. for their loyal support in helping child abuse victims in our community. For each of the last three years, The South Tennessee Oil Company, Inc., dba (Shell) Quik Mart Convenience Stores, conducted a fundraising campaign with their customers in their stores for Child Advocacy Centers in the various counties where Quik Mart operates. The campaign, which runs for two weeks, is named Cupcakes for Child Advocacy in honor of the companyís anniversary on December 7th. Each dollar collected from customers is matched 100% by company owner Jonathan Edwards of Lawrenceburg, TN. This year, through customer donations and the owner match, Shell Quik Mart donated a total of $58,006.00 to their eight local Child Advocacy Centers. $13,514.00 was donated to Juniorís House Childrenís Advocacy Center, which serves Lincoln, Moore, Bedford, and Marshall counties. Generous community support like this enables us to ensure child abuse victims receive the services they need to help the healing begin.
