Ronald "Bluegill" Dodson

Mr. Ronald “Bluegill” Dodson, 76, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Mr. Dodson was a native of Giles County, the son of the late Willie Wilkes and Evelyn (Secrest) Dodson. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from International Comfort Products and was a member of Farmington Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Dodson, and his four-month old twin brother, Donald Dodson. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Dalton Dodson; two sons, Jeff (Kim) Dodson of Tullahoma and Michael Dodson of Lewisburg; one sister, Jo Anne Dodson Hooten of Lewisburg; one granddaughter, Jacqueline (Wesley) Painter of Tullahoma; and a great-grandson, Pearson Phoenix Painter.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bryant Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, books may be purchased at the Marshall County Memorial Library dedicated to the memory of Mr. Dodson.
