FHU names Marshall County students to president’s, dean’s lists

Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the President’s List and the Dean’s List for Fall 2018. Seven students from Marshall County received these academic honors. Three students were named to the President’s List. They were: Preston Bennett, a freshman finance major from Chapel Hill; Jacob Rich, a freshman accounting major from Chapel Hill; and Will Smith, a freshman English major from Lewisburg. To be on the President’s List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average.

Recognition on the Dean’s List requires full-time status and a minimum GPA of 3.40 for the semester. Four Marshall County students were on this list. They were: Jonathan Harber, a freshman biology major from Chapel Hill; Callie Johnson, a senior psychology major from Belfast; Abbey Redferrin, a junior nursing major from Lewisburg; and Sierra Waggoner, a senior communication and speech major from Chapel Hill.
