Robert "Bobby" Rogers
Mr. Robert “Bobby” Rogers, 79, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at his residence.
Mr. Rogers was a native of Giles County, the son of the late William and Mary Elizabeth Willoughby Rogers. He attended the Mooresville Baptist Church and retired from the City of Lewisburg’s Street Dept.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Holder Rogers in 2016; four brothers, Paul Wayne Rogers, Nelson Rogers, Edward Thomas Rogers, and Harold D. Rogers; and a sister, Frances Haynes. He is survived by three brothers, Perry Rogers, Jerry Rogers, and Kenny Rogers, all of Davidson County; three sisters, Ann Cozart of Lewisburg, Shirley Rogers and Betty Hagewood, both of Davidson County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 3, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial following in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began Saturday evening and continued Sunday until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
