Scouts bring hope to Marshall County
In the Law of the Pack, a cub scout gives good will and in the Boy Scout Promise, a boy scout promises to help other people at all times.
By participating in the Scouting for Food Campaign, scouts came a step closer to fulfilling these words.
This month, the scouts of Pack 273 continued their Good Turn efforts by helping the hungry in Marshall County through the Scouting for Food Campaign. This was a national initiative that encouraged scouts to work with citizens to come together to fight local hunger. Braving the cold weather, the scouts collected 786 pounds of non-perishable food donations from the Cornersville Community.
Dedicated scouts Jackson Smith and Zander Phillips delivered goods to Hopetown on February 25. Many thanks to all of our scouts and the Cornersville households who donated goods.
