The stars might be numberless, but spaces for the traveling planetarium shows this weekend are not.

The Marshall County Memorial Library is hosting a portable planetarium show on Saturday at the new National Guard Armory in Lewisburg.

“It’s a great opportunity for children here, that they might not otherwise get to experience, to learn about the stars and planets,” said MCML Director Jennifer Pearson.

First through 6th graders can sign up for one of three 45 minute presentations in the inflatable planetarium at noon, 1 p.m., or 2 p.m.

Due to space limitations inside the dome, reservations are required for a session. Call 359-3335 or sign up at either branch of the Marshall County Library.

Pearson wanted to be sure that anyone interested in the program knew that it was at the armory and not at the library.

“Not too many places in town have 20 foot ceilings,” she said.
