Top students honored at School Board

The Marshall County Board of Education recognized the valedictorians and salutatorians for 2019 of the county’s three high schools at their Monday night meeting.

From left to right: Carleigh Kaufman, salutatorian from Cornersville High School, plans on attending UT Knoxville. She will major in pre-med. Elena Waters, salutatorian from Forrest High School, plans on attending UTK and majoring in anthropology. Carson Bailey, salutatorian from Marshall County High School, will attend Columbia State and major in Biology. Elijah Sterkel, valedictorian from Cornersville High School, plans on attending Columbia State before transferring to UT Martin to major in biology and pre-med. Bailey Neal, valedictorian from Forrest High School, plans on attending Tennessee Tech and majoring in accounting. Paige Fuller, valedictorian from Marshall County High School, will attend Mississippi State University and plans to major in political science.
