Bonzelle (Bonnie) Ayers Riley, 86, peacefully departed her home at NHC Lewisburg for a new home with her Heavenly Father on March 24, 2022.
She loved her family and friends fully and was a light to everyone around her. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, reading books, and reading her Bible through each year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Riley. Surviving children are Gene (Vickie) Riley of Brentwood, TN, Pat (Gerry) Statom of Lewisburg, TN and Terry (Melanie) Riley of Waynesboro, TN; four granddaughters, Brandie Liggett, Chandra Hall, Holly Peveler, and Amy Chodniewicz; nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on March 27, 2022, at Shackleford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN with Tom Ripetto officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at McGlamery Cemetery.
