Carl Morton, Jr., 81, of Lewisburg, TN, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2023, at NHC Lewisburg.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Carl Morton and Fannie Mai McKelvey Morton. He was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Claude Morton; sisters, Sarah Brown and Edna Luna.
He is survived by one sister, Carlene Cheeves; niece, Patsy Bowling; nephew, Jimmy (Brenda) Cheeves all of Lewisburg.
Carl, Jr. was loved by everyone he met. He loved baseball and watching his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves. He also loved listening to country music.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Berea Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. and will continue until the funeral hour.
