Mr. Cecil Howard “CH” Harwell, Jr., 78, longtime resident of Lewisburg, died peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at his residence.
A Marshall County native, he was born on Feb.18, 1943, to the late Cecil Howard Harwell, Sr. and the late Susie Ruth Brasheers Harwell. CH was a retired warehouse supervisor of Peterbilt Motors. For several years, he was a city councilman for Lewisburg. He enjoyed golfing, was an excellent billiards player, and was liked by everyone. CH was a devoted family man, and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Ann Green Harwell; sons, Cecil Howard (Tammy) Harwell, III of Murfreesboro; Derek (Lauren) Harwell of Lewisburg; daughter, Shelly (Kevin) Hurt of Lewisburg; sisters, Lois Aymett of Pulaski and Ann Callis of Spring Hill; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
