Charles Randall (Randy) Hazlett, 67, of Lewisburg, TN, left this world on Nov. 25, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
He was born in Lewisburg on April 11, 1954, to James Cecil and Mary Ellen Hazlett. He was a doting grandfather, avid hunter, and lifelong UT Vols fan. He especially enjoyed exploring the Great Smoky Mountains and searching for wildlife in Cades Cove.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda; their two sons, Dustin (Amanda) of Tullahoma, TN and Eric (Claire) of Memphis, TN; their three grandchildren, Sawyer, Harrison, and Charlotte; and two siblings, Denise Favors and David Hazlett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Hazlett.
Funeral were conducted Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Brother Ron Kleine officiating. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family visited with friends Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.
In memory of Randy, the family requests any contributions be made to the nonprofit organization, Friends of the Smokies.
