Mr. Donald Edwin Hodge, Sr., 70, of the Laws Hill community of Marshall Co., died Friday, Oct. 18, 2019. Born in Dekalb County, TN, Mr. Hodge was a son of the late Samuel Walter Hodge and Evelyn Lucille Redfern Hodge. He was retired from ICP in Lewisburg. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodge was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Odare and a brother, Lonnie Joe Hodge.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Sue Tankersley Hodge of the Laws Hill community; four daughters, Tawyna (Matt) Eady of the Laws Hill community, Tammy Hodge of Lewisburg, TN, Penny Layne (Tim) Bratcher of Murfreesboro, TN, Carrie Jean Hodge of Lewisburg, TN; a son, Donald Edwin “Buba” (Tina) Hodge, Jr. of Lewisburg, TN; three sisters, Shirley (Joe) Vaughn, Sandra Holman and Debra Harmon, all of Tullahoma, TN; two brothers, Sam Hodge of Lewisburg, TN and Gary Hodge of Tullahoma, TN; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Nathan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery.
