Ethan Jarred Miller, 20, resident of Lewisburg, joined God’s army on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022.

A Celebration of Ethan’s life will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Vines officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time. Inurnment will take place at the Sunset Park Columbarium at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Dive Heart, www.diveheart.com.

Ethan was born on Aug. 30, 2002, in Franklin, TN. He was a Marshall County High School graduate, Class of 2020. While attending Marshall County High, he was a valuable player on the football team. Ethan aspired to become a Navy Seal, and was invited to join them for training. He had a great love for being in the water and he was a certified scuba diver. Ethan was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking.

Survivors include his mom and step-dad, Carey and Matt Winsett of Lewisburg; dad and step-mom, Timothy and Jamey Miller of Chapel Hill; brother, Kevin Hull of Murfreesboro; sister, Maggie Miller of Chapel Hill; grandmother, Mary Alice Miller of Oneida; step-grandparents, Keith and Chris Shults of Lewisburg; step-grandmother, Jean Overton of Chattanooga; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly.

Ethan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, E.J. Overton; maternal grandmother, Willa Dene Overton; paternal grandfather, Tom Miller; and step-grandfather, Larry Winsett.
