Mrs. Florence Westmoreland, 90, of the Caney Spring community in Marshall County, died on Monday, July 25, 2022, in Lewisburg, TN. She was born in Bedford County, TN and was the daughter of the late Tommy Lee Haynes and Alta Florence Pugh Haynes. Mrs. Westmoreland was of the Christian faith and was retired from Durango Boot Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Josh Rollin Westmoreland, Jr. in 1998, sister, Margaret Bonner, and brothers, Alvin Lee Haynes, Harvey Webb Haynes, and David Earl Haynes.
Mrs. Florence absolutely loved watching wrestling. She was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed reading books and doing word search puzzles.
Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by her children, Dana Westmoreland (Fred) Wheeler of Spring Hill, TN, David “Mike” (Martha) Westmoreland of Columbia, TN; sister, Louise Evans of Lewisburg, TN; two grandchildren, Tina Sorrow and Keith Westmoreland; six grea- grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 29, 2022, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, with Rev. Eric Hogstrom officiating. Interment will follow at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover community in Bedford County, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
