Frances Benson Wingo died on Jan. 3, 2022, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents John Washington Benson, Audra Maddox Benson, and her five siblings, Major Nolan Benson, Clyde Benson, Raymond Benson, Gwen Benson Honey, and Dr. Howell Benson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Carl Wingo. She is survived by her three children, Mike and Greg Wingo, Wende Wingo Maddox; seven grandchildren, Callie Wingo Fuller, Alexandra Wingo, Hayley Wingo, Morgan Wingo, Dawson Maddox, Marlea Maddox, Abigail Maddox; and two great-grandchildren, Beau and Reece Fuller.
There will be a Memorial Service at Moore and Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester, TN, on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at 1 p.m. central time with visitation at noon.
The Wingo family wishes to extend appreciation and gratitude to Lifecare of Redbank, Parkridge Medical Center and Hospice of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
