Gail Marie Porter, 68, of Belfast, died Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her home.
She was a native of Bedford County, the daughter of the late Edward Ernie Hemphill and Sadie Mae Dye Hemphill. She was retired from Cosmolab and member of the Catalpa Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby McConnell Porter and brother, David Hemphill. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Marie Porter King of Westmoreland, TN; two sons, Brian William Porter and Cary McConnell Porter both of Belfast; two sisters, Rhonda Ann Hemphill Waters and Charlotte Elaine Hemphill Gower both of Lewisburg; brother, Douglas Hemphill of Athens, AL; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 2 p.m. from chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, TN 37091 with burial to follow in Talley Cemetery at Cane Creek.
Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catalpa Church of Christ.
