• Tennessee Governmental Prayer Alliance will hold a prayer service at the Marshall County Courthouse, at 9 a.m., the second Saturday of each month. The main objective of this organization is to serve those in authority through prayer. Everyone is invited to attend these services.

• Aug 29 - Commodity give away Saturday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m. at the Second Avenue church of Christ, 720 2nd Avenue North.

• Aug 30 - Delina Church of God has cancelled their Homecoming which was scheduled for Aug. 30, 2020.

• Aug 31 - Lewisburg Electric System’s Board of Public Utilities will hold their August Board Meeting on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020 at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the LES office, 599 W. Ellington Pkwy. The meeting is open to the public.

• Sept 1 - Notice of a Special Call Meeting of the Mayor & Council of the City of Lewisburg, Sept. 1, 5 p.m. at the Lewisburg Recreation Center. Notice of Public Hearing will immediately follow their work session.

• Sept 3 - Marshall County Solid Waste Committee will meet Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Solid Waste Office, 611 Hawkins Drive.

• Sept 3 - The Town of Cornersville will have its regular meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Sept. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall in Cornersville. This meeting is open to the public and all citizens are welcome to attend. Attendees are encouraged to wear masks.

• Sept 7 - The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities at 624 West Commerce Street will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day. The office will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8 a.m.

• Sept 9 - Marshall County Joint Economic & Community Development Board will meet Sept. 9 at 8 a.m. at Henry Horton State Park.

• Sept 14 - The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 15, 9 a.m., at 624 West Commerce Street in the Doug Rogers Board Room. Please wear a face covering.

• Sept 14 - Lewisburg Gas Dept. Monthly Board Meeting, Sept. 14, 4 p.m., 505 N. Ellington Pkwy.

• Sept 14 - The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Chapel Hill will hold a regular monthly meeting Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. Comments concerning an amendment to the permitted use table of the Chapel Hill Zoning Ordinance within business districts will be welcomed. All are welcome to attend.
