Marjorie Louise Stroud, 81, of Cornersville, TN, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her home.
She was a native of Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of the late Clifford Legare and Caroline Simmons Legare. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Stroud was a Customer Service representative at Saturn. She was a faithful member of Lewisburg First Assembly of God. She enjoyed crafting, especially making jewelry, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kathy Waddell.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harley “Skip” Stroud; one daughter, Cindy Lee of Cornersville; three stepsons, Randall Stroud, Bradley Stroud, and Steven Stroud, all of Michigan; seventeen grandchildren, Monica Lee, and Whitney Lee, both of Cornersville; three brothers, Dale Legare, of Farmington, MN, Richard Legare, Houston, TX, and Harlan Legare, Eagle River, AK.
Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly Church.
Cornersville Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
