Mrs. Peggy Jean Osteen Moore, 88, of the Caney Spring community of Marshall County, died Thursday evening, Nov. 17, 2022, in Lewisburg, TN.  Mrs. Moore was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Claude Lemuel and Pauline Carrie Wilson Osteen. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Bruce Moore, who died in 2016.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters, Teresa Ray and Cindy Curtis, both of the Caney Spring community; sons, Gary (Sandra) Moore, Harvest, AL and Darrell Moore, Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Glenda Wilson, Cincinnati, OH; brother, Claude Osteen, Grand Prairie, TX; grandchildren, Jason (Brittney) Curtis, Matthew (Samantha) Moore, Bonny Moore, Nicole (James) Orr, Seth Moore, Josh Moore, Emily (Hunter) Clark; great grandchild, Eden Joy Curtis; several nieces and nephews.

Family members received friends Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022 from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring community with Jeremiah Tatum officiating. Burial followed in Allen Cemetery.
