Graveside service for Mrs. Sandra Kay “Sandy” Orr, 74, of Oxford, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at Forestlawn Gardens in Golden Springs. Reverend David Hodnett and Reverend Rick Searle will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Orr passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Robbie Cochran; sisters, Rebecca Brown and Doris Smith; and brother, Paul Cochran.
Mrs. Orr was a native of Lewisburg, TN and a resident of Oxford since 1988. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Orr is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles William Orr, Sr. The love and devotion the two of them shared was indescribable, and the family they were blessed with was her greatest source of pride. Their children, Charles William Orr, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, Teresa Orr, Melinda Orr, Beckie Buckner and her husband, Wade; grandchildren, Meaghan (Howard) Haines, Colleen (Jerry) McDonald, Nicole (Patrick) Palmer, Sarah (Matthew) Lake, Christa (Jonathan) Smith, Brae (Zack) Swagert, Madison, Chayse, and Alexandra Orr; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Trip, and Griffin McDonald, Hailey Haines, Kyleigh and Peyton Sharron, Issac Lake, Brody, Owen, and Ansleigh Smith...all because two people fell in love. Special nieces and nephews, as well as friends that became family, have known her love.
