Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 4 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 11 until 4 PM at Bills-McGaugh and Hamilton Funeral Home.
Born on April 29, 1954, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Austin Sanders and Mary Ruth Darnell Sanders. She married her husband Houston, Dec. 31, 1971, and her family was everything to her.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert Houston Southerland of Lewisburg; son, William Robert (Katherine) Southerland of Lewisburg; daughter, Misty LeAnn (Robert) Johnson of Lewisburg; sisters, Patsy Morton and Sharon Sharp of Lewisburg; grandsons, Aaron Sheroski, Gunnar Southerland, Ashton Posey, Levi Osborne, Jason Brown, Houston Southerland; granddaughters, Madison Southerland and Taylor Osborne; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her brothers, Johnny Sanders, Harvey Sanders, and Bobby Sanders.
Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
