Virginia Mai Dugger Tyree, age 87, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, at Marshall Medical Center.
She was a native of Maury County, the daughter of the late Henry Sr. and Janie McConnell Dugger. She was a homemaker, a member of the Antioch Church of Christ and the Home Demonstration Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kyle David Tyree; one sister, Carolyn Andrews; five brothers, Henry Dugger, William Dugger, Bob Dugger, Ronald Dugger, and Donald Dugger.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Tyree; one son, Marty (Jamie) Tyree of Columbia; three grandchildren, Clay (Melissa) Tyree, Megan (Luke) Gurchiek, and Hunter (Lauren) Tyree; four sisters, Margaret Chapman, Laquita Hobby, Darlene Alexander, and Kathy Richardson; and one brother, Charles Douglas Dugger.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at noon from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091 with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, from 10 a.m. and will continue until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
