Will “Paul” Drake, 72, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, after battling Covid. He was born on May 17, 1949, in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Brown Drake and Edith Bobo Drake.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at the Drake residence.

Paul spent most of his life working as a mechanic and farmer. He loved his dogs, fast cars, motorcycles, and all “speed performance” vehicles. He also enjoyed guns and shooting.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his son, Will Paul Drake, Jr. (“Drake”) and sister, Sandra Kelly.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Drake of Dickson, TN; sons, John Drake of Arizona, Floyd Drake “Old Man;" step-daughters, Nancy Tidwell of Dickson, TN, Tonya Newton (Jerome) of Waverly, TN, Penny Schoolcraft of Dickson, TN, Heather Dile (Albert) of Cumberland Furnace, TN; brothers, Homer (Teresa) Drake, A.J. Drake, Don (Lisa) Drake, all of Marshall County; sisters, Patricia (Kenneth) Blackwell, Carolyn Gordon, Barbara Defoe, all of Marshall County. “Pops” to twenty grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and four legged children, Lady, Sissy, Little Bit, and Peaches.
