Crockett’s Forge Seat Chapter, National Society United States Daughters of 1812, member Amanda Jett Parker, presented “Francis Scott Key’s Star-Spangled Banner” to the Marshall County Memorial Library.
The book was written by Monica Kulling and is a History Reader for Grades 1-3. The book is presented in honor of “Star-Spangled Banner Day” on Sept. 14. “The Star-Spangled
Banner” was designated the National Anthem of the United States of America on March 3, 1931.
