'Old hatchery seen as illegal trash dump site'
Trash including name and address information was found Saturday during the Duck River Cleanup and now it's in the hands of authorities, who've started an investigation.
Meanwhile, memorabilia from a time gone by was recovered from the river by some of the 70 people whose work was lighter than last year's cleanup. The event is coordinated by Marshall County and sponsored by the Duck River Agency.

Two shows planned in Chapel Hill
Now that Independence Day is one week away, it's safe to say that fireworks stands have been popping up all over.
Meanwhile, two fireworks shows are being planned in Chapel Hill for this year's celebration of America's Independence Day.
The first is Wednesday by the pyrotechically-minded business partners set up in the tent just south of Forrest Landing. The second is by the town as it celebrates the founding of Chapel Hill.
