Director Ken Lilly and Chief Operating Officer Eric Huch of Calsonic Kansei in Lewisburg present Marshall County High School Principal John Bush and Director of Schools Jacob Sorrells with a $10,000 check before the Tigers semi-final football game. The funds support the MCHS Renaissance Program, which recognizes and rewards students who maintain high GPAs, achieve high scores on standardized tests, improve their overall GPAs, or maintain perfect attendance. "It wouldn't exist without them," said Bush. "We couldn't do as much to recognise and reward these students as we do." Dozens of local businesses support the program in various ways but the donation from Calsonic covers shirts for the students in the program as well as various cash prizes for their efforts.
