There were many homes lit with Christmas lights leading up to the much anticipated day. Some homes had a simple and sweet set up while others really went all out. This year there was plenty to see. On any given night, several cars could be spotted on the square enjoying the entertaining light show. Just driving through town on West Commerce was exciting for any Christmas-light lover, with several yards decked with Christmas lights, music, and décor. Homes have been spotted with Santa and his reindeer and several have different nativity scenes. Yards were full of snowmen, penguins, and presents. Other homes were creative with their lights. One home crafted a Christmas tree out of lights on the peak of their home, even topping it with a star. Some families covered their entire house in lights while others stuck to their yards. Some yards were decorated with white lights and decor, which always make one think of snow. Others were full of color -- either way they are beautiful. Driving around, it was exciting to see just how many homes let their Christmas spirits spread to the outdoors for children and adults alike to enjoy.
