Circus comes to Rock Creek Park
Wimpy and Del Rita, the elephants of Carson & Barnes Circus, ended their bath in Rock Creek Park with a refreshing face rinse. The elephants are both females, 39 and 41 years old, were born in captivity, and their trainer is Habib Omar. The circus was in town for two performances under the big top in Rock Creek Park last Thursday.
