Marshall County High School's assistant baseball coach Steve Reese informed the Tribune today that one of the several state championship rings stolen in a burglary at his home on Nov. 7 has been recovered from Nashville and returned to him today.

According to Reese, the ring turned up in an un-named Nashville high school when a teacher became suspicious of a male student wearing a big ring on his finger.

The teacher informed school authorities and the ring was given back. Upon retrieval of the stolen ring, the principal saw Reese's named inscribed inside the ring, searched the Tribune website, and saw the picture of Reese's rings pertaining to the Nov. 14 article.

The Marshall County Sheriffs Department was notified and went to Nashville to investigate the incident and recovered the stole item and returned it to Reese.

Circumstances surrounding the incident are still pending the sheriff's office's investigation.
