Cold weather is no obstacle
It’s not a smudge on the camera lens; it’s the photographer’s breath clouding up the picture of the intrepid group that turned out Monday for the New Years Day hike at Henry Horton Park, despite the frigid temperatures. Dozens of state parks offered opportunities to start the new year with a healthy option, offering hikes on either New Years Eve or New Years Day. Horton hasn’t let winter keep them indoors either. The park is offering an overnight camping trip on the weekend of Jan. 13.
