Community, postseason player awards announced at Forrest
The Chad Franklin Award was handed out before the District 12-AA title game Thursday night at the Field of Dreams in Chapel Hill and from left are, award winner Max Kirby, Brad Franklin, Kevin Franklin, Rhonda Franklin, award winner Jenna Blanton, and Forrest principal Angie Phifer.

The Tony Sweeney Award was handed out before the game and from left are, Forrest athletic director Oakey Gaskill, award winner Ellie Tipps Ballow, and Forrest principal Angie Phifer.
The District 12-AA Players of the Year from left are Laura Mealer-Forrest (Offense), Abby McGehee-Marshall County (Defense), and Ashley Milligan-Forrest (Pitcher).
The District 12-AA All-District First Team from left are, Karley Daughrity (Forrest), Jenna Blanton (Forrest), Macyn Kirby (Forrest), Rylan Smith (Nolensville), Avery Patton (Nolensville), Tatum Garrett (Marshall County), Taylor Pickle (Marshall County), Jada Gardner (Giles County), Briana Beech (Community), and Jasmyn Stanley (Murfreesboro Central Magnet).
