Arrested on a warrant for theft

* Jeffrey Allen Jr., 22, Lebanon. Bond: $8,000; court date: May 6. Additional charge: criminal impersonation. Allen was identified from a photo lineup as the man who stole five bottles of vodka from By-Pass Liquors, but when police went to arrest him he claimed to be Zachary Allen, and showed them his brother's ID card. A woman who backed up his claim to be Zach Allen was arrested on a warrant for filing a false report. She was Crystal Bryant, 23, of Cornersville Road. Her bond was $1,000; court date: May 6.

Thefts and vandalism reported

* Between March 17 and 24, two guitars and a guitar case, worth a total of $590, disappeared from a home on Liberty Valley Road. One guitar is an Ibanez white and silver and the other is a black LPD M-10 with two chips on the body. The guitar case is an Ibanez.

* Between 7 p.m. March 17 and 7 a.m. March 18 someone took a loaded shotgun from a truck parked at the owner's home on Holly Grove Road. The gun is a 12 gauge Remington 1100 with a wood stock, worth $450. The blue on the shotgun is in "rough condition," according to the report by Marshall County Sheriff's Capt. Bart Fagan.

* Between 3:30 p.m. March 15 and 5:30 a.m. March 18, CB radios were taken from two Venture Express trucks parked at 841 Industrial Drive. A CB radio gear keeper and a Cobra mic were taken from one of the trucks. Both drivers said they left the trucks locked, but there were no signs of forced entry. Total value of the missing items is $329.

* Five bottles of Taaka vodka, worth a total of $74.60, were stolen from By-Pass Liquors about 10 p.m. March 22 by a customer who grabbed them, ran out of the store, and got into the passenger side of a silver Chevy Impala. Lewisburg Police Department got a description of the thief from the store clerk, and later arrested Jeffrey Allen Jr.

* A counterfeit $20 bill was found in the deposit from Factory Connection when it was counted at First Commerce Bank on March 21.
