Thefts and vandalism reported

* Sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 26, a garbage can worth $100 was taken from the curb in front of a home on West End Avenue North.

* On March 28, someone broke into a barn on Spring Place Road. Nothing appeared to be missing, but the damage to the door and its frame will cost $50 to repair.

* A counterfeit $20 bill was found in the deposit from Krystal Restaurant when it was counted at First Commerce Bank on March 27.
