! Juan de la Cruz, 27, 4th Avenue North. Bond: $2,000; court date: May 13. Also charged with driving on a revoked license, and cited for failure to maintain lane. This is allegedly Cruz's third DUI.

! Dustin T. Phillips, 19, Mooresville Highway. Bond: $2,000; court date: May 13. Additional charges: underage consumption and violation of the open container law. This is allegedly Phillips' second offense of underage DUI.

Thefts and vandalism reported

! When a man arrived at 532 5th Avenue North on the morning of April 5, he noticed broken windows. Someone had entered the building and stolen $600 worth of copper wire and six iron lentels worth $300. The window panes will cost an estimated $100 to replace.

! A Lewisburg man reported to police someone used his name and date of birth to open an account with Verizon and buy a Droid cell phone. The victim found out because a Verizon bill for $984 showed up on his credit report.

! A Cornersville man reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department someone had taken a Holland stainless steel gas grill, worth $800, from the back deck of his home on Pulaski Highway while he was away from the house on April 10.

! On April 12, someone pryed the lock off the door of a tool shed at a home on Warner Road and tools and scrap metal worth a total of $500. An older red GMC Jimmy was seen leaving the house.

! On April 14, a red 18 Hp Murray lawn mower with a 32-inch cut was taken from the shed of a home on Finley Beech Road and loaded on a black trailer pulled by a silver Toyota Tacoma with tinted windows. The mower has a unique fuel shutoff, and is worth $400.

! On April 10, a 2000 Ford Explorer was deeply scratched on the driver's side while it was parked at the Cornersville Quik Mart. The owner estimated it might cost $200 to fix the vehicle.

! Between 2 and 4 p.m. April 11, an obscene message was scratched into the door of an apartment on Cornersville Road. It will cost an estimated $25 to fix the door.

! A skateboard worth $30 was reported stolen from Walmart on April 9.

! Paul B. Baxter, 42, Culleoka. Bond: $1,000; court date: May 13. Lewisburg Police Officer Mike Davis stopped Baxter for speeding on Cornersville Road. K-9 Officer Clyde Ragsdale arrived with his dog Roccon, who indicated on a narcotic odor, according to Davis' report. A search of the car revealed five muscle relaxer pills in a plastic cigarette wrapper in the center console. Baxter was also cited for speeding.
