Thefts and vandalism reported
* A 2011 Mazda 3, worth $20,000, disappeared from a Lewisburg woman's workplace, NHC Lewisburg, and was later recovered in Nashville. The victim told police she left the car parked with the keys inside at 10 p.m. May 27, and noticed it was gone at 4:50 a.m. May 28.
* A Lewisburg man reported his wallet, with $600 in it, was stolen from his home on 5th Avenue North while he was away from the house on May 26.
* A red limited edition Wii gaming console and a Kindle Fire, worth a total of $413, went missing from a home on Mechanico Trail on May 18. The homeowner told Lewisburg Police Officer Jeremy Chapman there had been workmen in the house for the last few weeks.
* A black metal lawn chair, worth $100, was stolen from the backyard of a home on 2nd Avenue North sometime between 8 p.m. May 26 and 10 a.m. May 27. At about the same time, a tan mesh-back chair and a brown folding chair, worth a total of $40, were stolen from a neighbor's front porch.
* A mailbox with an ornate black iron post, set in cement, was pushed over about 3 a.m. May 25, on West Cedar Street. Lewisburg Police Officer Mike Davis estimated the cost of replacing this mailbox would be $100. At the same time, the mailbox of a home across the street was struck with a blunt object and a basketball goal in the yard was pushed over.
* A package of 90 hydrocodone tablets from a mail-order pharmacy, worth $45, was placed in a mailbox at 10:30 a.m. May 21, according to the post office, but was gone when the victim went to check the box at 12:10 p.m.
* A Lewisburg woman reported to police she left her black and grey leather purse, worth $40, in a booth at McDonalds. When she went back 20 minutes later, the purse was gone. In it were her driver's license and social security card.
* A ornate door handle, worth $30, was pulled off the front door of a home on West End Avenue North sometime during the day on May 26. There were no signs anyone had entered the house, and nothing else appeared to be missing.

* Jonathan Tyree, 19, Old Lane Road. Bond: $1,000; court date: July 1. Lewisburg Police Officer Jeremy Chapman spotted a yellow Cub Cadet push mower in the yard of a home on Old Lane Road while he was on patrol, and investigation revealed its serial number matched that of a mower reported stolen from a house on Easy Street a few days earlier.
