Arrested and charged with driving under the influence

* Shannon M. Perryman, 31, Pulaski. Bond: $2,000; court date: Dec. 9. Also charged with violation of the implied consent law and driving on a suspended license.

* Jacob C. Skinner, 23, Woods Avenue North. Bond: $500; court date: Dec. 9. Also cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Thefts and vandalism reported

* Sometime in the last six months, an unoccupied home on Verona Caney Road was broken into and ransacked. A camper parked there had the windows broken and was also ransacked. Three Chrysler LeBaron convertibles that were parked at the house were stolen -- a 1988 worth $600, a 1995 worth $2,000, and a 1992 worth $1,500. Also missing are items worth a total of $3,500, including a Poulan Wild Thing chainsaw, a .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a 42-inch flatscreen TV, a 10-foot Bass Hunter plastic boat, a refrigerator, a stove, a 4-by-4-by-4-foot safe containing baseball cards, and a large tan storage cabinet.

* Between Oct. 23 and 26, someone forced open the passenger window of a Dodge truck parked at the owner's home on New Columbia Highway and took $100 cash, a Bersa .380 pistol worth $450, and a leather jacket and chaps, worth $700. The truck will cost an estimated $450 to repair.

* Between Oct. 17 and 19, someone entered a home and an outbuilding on Old Highway 99 and took hand tools, six TVs, and a fan, cookware, dishes and a microwave, worth a total of $1,550.

* On Oct. 24, someone forced their way into a home on Holly Grove Road and took items worth $1,174, including a 52-inch ZBC TV, a Knight 50 caliber BK92 rifle with a black nylon strap and a 3x9 Simmons scope, a Thompson Center 50 caliber rifle, a Simmons rangefinder and a lock box containing old papers and some collectible coins.

* Between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23, someone kicked in the door of a home on Bob Cheek Road, but nothing of value was taken from the house. The door will cost an estimated $650 to repair.

* On Oct. 21, a man who lives on Franklin Road returned home after being away working for three weeks and noticed his Coors Light Keg tub, which contained about $300 in change, was missing. The victim gave Lewisburg Police Officer Charles Brannan the name of the man he believed was responsible for the theft.

* Between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Oct. 21, a wallet was taken from a Kroger employee's purse while it was in her locker. The green and white wallet is worth $30, and contained a debit card, a store credit card, an Ascend Federal Credit Union check book, a Social Security card, and a driver's license.

* Between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23, a female gray and white pit bull who is going to have puppies was stolen from the yard of her owner's home on Coleman Street

* Between 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13 and 1 p.m. Oct. 20, an Alpine Amp and a 10-inch Alpine woofer speaker were stolen from the owner's Jeep. A 10-inch woofer was found in a shed behind a home on Bryant Street. Two juveniles who were seen near the shed were questioned by Lewisburg Police Officer Anthony McLean.

* Betty Jo Jones, 47, Chapel Hill. Bond: $10,000; court date: Nov. 19.

Arrested and charged with domestic assault, vandalism, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest

* Joseph B. Russell, 31, Trey Drive. Bond: $11,500; court date: Dec. 2. During an altercation with his girlfriend, Russell allegedly did over $5,000 worth of damage to the interior of the house where they lived and also broke the windshield of a friend's car, according to the report by Lewisburg Police Officer Clint Newbill.

* Shane G. Morton, 18, Mt. Pleasant. Bond: $2,000; court date not stated.

Arrested and charged with driving without a license

* Roperto Mendoza, 41, Greenwood Drive. Bond; $500; court date: Dec. 9. Also cited for failure to provide proof of insurance and equipment violation. Mendoza admitted, through an interpreter, he was recently arrested for driving without a license in Maury County and has a pending court case there, according to the report by Lewisburg Police Officer Charles Brannan.

* Andres de Jesus Suarez-Arriaga, 20, Shelbyville. Bond: $1,000; court date: Dec. 2. Also cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.

* Ladacia E. Allen, 18, Belfast. Bond: $500; court date: Oct. 29.

* Richard C. Allen, 46, Belfast. Court date: Dec. 2.

* Kevin L. Furness Jr., 24, Lebanon, Tenn. Court date: Dec. 9. Also cited for expired registration and turning at an intersection. Furness allegedly made a prohibited left turn on the square, turning left onto West Commerce Street after stopping at the stop sign in front of Tillis Jewelers, according to the report by Lewisburg Police Officer Clyde Ragsdale.
