Thefts and vandalism reported

* Between Oct. 1 and Nov. 25, one or more people took two vehicles (a white 1993 Chevy Lumina and a 1984 Chevy C10 pickup truck), and antiques, electronics, tools, and household items from a home, shed, and garage at a property on Wade Brown Road. Total value of the stolen items was estimated at $45,346.

* An employee of Matrix Drilling reported to Lewisburg Police Department that someone had been fraudulently cashing checks on Matrix Drilling. Between Nov. 4 and 13, $43,998.43 worth of checks were cashed, some of them in Miami, Fla.

* During the two weeks preceding Nov. 23, someone broke into a storage unit on Nashville Highway and took an autographed Dale Earnhardt trading card, a bag with about 25 knives in it, Teenage Ninja Turtle action figures (retro and new age) and a Turtle van, a box of collectable baseball cards, silver coins and $2 bills, specialized golf mugs, a K & N recharge kit, miscellaneous car supplies, and two Nintendo game systems. A Shaker air induction unit for a 1979 Trans Am was damaged beyond repair. Total value of items stolen and damaged was estimated at $4,370.

* A 24-inch Sansui flatscreen TV and a 47-inch Toshiba flatscreen TV were taken from First United Methodist Daycare Center on Nov. 23, but the perpetrators were caught on surveillance video which was shown to the police. Total cost of the damaged and stolen items was estimated at $1,960.

* Between Nov. 28 and 29, someone broke into a mobile home on Spring Place Road and took $250 cash and broke down the bedroom door. The victim gave Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Freddie Darnell the names of people he suspected of being involved in the theft.

* A woven wire fence worth $200 was torn down at a property on Holly Grove Road.

* Four used tires, size 205-70-R14, worth a total of $100, were taken from the bed of a pickup truck parked at the owner's home on Highland Avenue between 10 p.m. Nov. 24 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 25.

* The driver's side headlamp of a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass was broken while the car was parked at Mansard House Apartments on Nov. 24. The damage will cost an estimated $60 to repair.

* Ruts were made in the ground at Round Hill Cemetery, possibly by a silver Chevy pickup truck which was seen there on Nov. 30.

* Jessica Ellis, 27, Villa Green Drive. Bond: $9,000; court date: Jan. 6.

Arrested and charged with aggravated assault

* Crystal G. McConnell, 33, Cornersville. Bond: $7.500; court date: Jan. 14.

Arrested and charged with driving under the influence

* Ivan G. Caudill, 49, Cornersville Road. Bond: $1,000; court date: Jan. 13. This is allegedly Caudill's second DUI.

Arrested and charged with domestic assault

* Kristi D. Gatlin, 44, Saddle Wood Drive. Bond: $1,000; court date: Jan. 13.

* Charlie A. Williams, 26, Yell Road. Bond: $1.000; court date: Jan. 14.

* Stephanie J. Holt, 34, Chapel Hill. Bond: $1,500; court date: Dec. 3. Additional charge: possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license

* Ebony N. Pettigrew, 20, Glenn Avenue. Bond: $500; court date: Jan. 6.

Cited for driving on a suspended license

* Ketkeo Henderson, 43, Murfreesboro. Court date: Jan. 13. Also cited for equipment violation (headlight not working).

* Michael J. Bandedo, 28, Belfast. Court date not stated. Also cited for lights required on motor vehicle and failure to provide proof of insurance.

Arrested on a probation-violation warrant

* George A. Parsons Jr., 42, Columbia. Bond; $500; court date: Dec. 10.
