Dennis Wayne Burlison, 50, of Chapel Hill, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 15, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Dennis Wayne Burlison died Wednesday

Dennis Wayne Burlison, 50, of Chapel Hill, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 15, 2012, at his residence.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen McCollum and Bro. Glen Floyd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Burlison Cemetery near Chapel Hill.

Shane Coles, Keith Ragsdale, Chris Walls, Jonathan Davidson, Terry Best, Jay Pollock, and Larry Hardiman will serve as active pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Hinson, Jeff Ragsdale, and Tommy Isabel.

Mr. Burlison was born in Columbia, and was the owner of the former Burlison Chapel Hill Floor Covering in Chapel Hill. He attended Caney Spring Baptist Church in the Caney Spring Community.

Mr. Burlison was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Thomas Burlison, and by three brothers, Timmy Burlison, Rooster Burlison and Alan Ragsdale.

Mr. Burlison is survived by his wife, Tonette Alea Burlison of Chapel Hill; daughters, Nikki Bartleson of Hixson, McKenzie D. Burlison of Huntsville, Ala., and Jessica K. Charron of College Grove; sons, Warren G. Coles of Pikeville and Anthony Shane Coles of Shelbyville; mother and stepfather, Lucille R. and Junior Ragsdale of Mt Pleasant; grandmother, Pauline Pennington of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Nell Brannon of Centerville, Debbie McKennon of Mt. Pleasant, Shelia Carroll of Hohenwald, Lynn Escobar of Columbia, Diane Burlison of Hohenwald, Dorothy Brown of Hohenwald, and Lisa Adams of Columbia; brothers, Thomas Burlison of Lobelville; Larry Hardiman of Mt. Pleasant, Eddie Lee Hinson of Mt. Pleasant, Jeff Ragsdale of Mt. Pleasant, and Peanut Ragsdale of Spring Hill; and grandchildren, Kaine Michael Patin, Memphis Davidson, Lauren Cartwright, Titan Burlison, and Dorian White.
