It seems that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is consistently the coldest of the winter so far and Monday was no different, although that didn’t stop the crowd who gathered to march on Monday in the Unity in the Community march honoring the legacy of King.
The annual event, sponsored by the Marshall County NAACP, featured several speakers who touched on both the progress made since 1968 and the work that still needs to be done. Pictured: County Mayor Mike Keny addresses the crowd.
