Team First Commerce, consisting of David Delk, Dean Delk, Ryan Sweeney, and Joey Morefield fired a 15-under par score of 57 to claim the top spot in the Chapel Hill Lions Club Golf Tournament at Henry Horton State Park Friday.
Finishing in second place in the championship flight, two shots back, was the Big 'G' Express team of Tim Tipps, T.J. Tipps, Joe Liggett, and Andy Blackwell, while third place went to the Jeff Nicholson led team with Brandon Romer, Josh Seiber, and Jason Voss, who scrambled to a 60.

First flight
The first flight winners, shooting a 7-under par 65 turned out to be the Forrest School squad, consisting of Jeremy Jean, Davy McClaran, Anthony Gilley, and Danny Blalock.
Walker Die Casting took second place with a 65 and was manned by Will Walker, Scott Gilpin, Bryan Bolton, and Bill Donavan.
The United Communications squad that had William Bradford, Kyle Winters, Jaimy Cooper, and Steve McPherson in the foursome claimed third place in the first flight.
Second flight
Dani Hoeft, Ty Hoeft, Jacob Daughrity, and Randy Toombs won the top honors in the second flight, coming to the clubhouse with a 2-under par 70 for the First State Bank squad.
J & D Machine with Bill Purdom, Jimmy Purdom, Jimmy Henson, and Joe Coble, along with the CO-OP foursome of Scott Turner, Ernie Limon, Johnny Faulkner, and Robert Crague both shot 70 as well, but lost out to 1st National on a match of scorecards.
Pam Elliot drilled the long drive for the women on hole number seven, while Dean Delk blasted his way to the men's long drive on the monstrous 18th hole at the Buford Ellington Golf Course.
Joe Liggett stuck it close on the 153-yard Par 3 16th hole.
